Getting media markers onto the main timeline

I know Vegas has been able to display markers on the timeline that are embedded into media files for a long time now... and you can see the marker names and manipulate them in the Trimmer... but has anyone figured out how to promote these markers to the main timeline?

How about Tools - Scripting - Promote Media Markers? (Vegas 6.0c or newer required)

I'm really happy they added that... it makes a big difference to have access to that in scripting. Yipee!!

Using the new scripting feature, Johnny Roy posted a nice script that will take media embeded regions and convert them to subclips. It should be in the scripting forum.
