Getting started directions?

I am new to this software and not very technically oriented, is there anywhere I can go for a "how to" on this software? There were no directions that I could find in the package. Any help appreciated.

Well, found the manual,but can not get sound. I have the Vegas Movie Studio version 9.

Is your software installed yet? There are some instructionals in the program itself. Click on "Help" and choose "Show me how."

We found the manual, but still can get no sound? We don't seem to have any audio controls or choices.

What type of video file is it? The source?

Right click on the file and choose Properties, does it show that the audio is there?
