Getting video and audio onto my DV tape

Hi gang,

I'm having trouble getting audio onto my camcorder from the avi file I made in Video Factory. I'm using a western firewire card and the video is great, but I can't get any sound to come through. I'm running win98SE on a pII 450. Anyone got any suggestions?

I had a similar problem trying to get audio to my VHS recorder on another project. I solved the problem by getting a "Y" adapter cable (any Radio Shack or some such electronics store) and leaving one line go to my PC speakers and the second I plugged into the audio in of the VHS instead of directly connecting the audio out (red/while) cables of the breakout box. May work if your camera has seperate video/audio inputs.
