ghosts

sometimes it seems that vegas remembers events that have
been removed from a file and it will play a ghost of that
event.
in other words, i have a bunch of events placed in vegas and
i'll work on mixing those events for days.
and then i'll decide that i have to cut two minutes out of
the middle of the file. so i'll cut all the evnts out of
the middle and move all the events that were at the end to
the middle.
then, when i playback the file, i hear a little snippet of
one of the events that i cut.
has this happened to anyone else. any ideas for a fix?

Hello.

I have not heard of this before, if you get a chance please send us
an email at: support@sonicfoundry.com with your systems
configurations - on a quick note, I would suggest checking out your
soundcard/video card hardware manufacturers websites, to see if there
are any recent software driver updates on either of those devices...
You'll also want to make sure you are using Vegas 1.0b (available
from the download section on our website.)

Thanks.
