Glitchy playback w/ M-Audio AudioPhile 192

Is anyone having trouble with glitchy playback using an M-Audio Audiophile 192 and Vegas 8. This happens with both the classic wave driver and the ASIO driver. This was not a problem with prior versions of Vegas.

(As a side note, I also have a Digi002 rack and playback is fine with the Digi ASIO driver.)

Sorry, can't answer - I'm now skiing up Mt Ruapehu www.mtruapehu.com , whicherupted last week.

Probaly a driver about 8 months old. ASIO and trad.

Turns out my problem was a basic one - too many devices on an IRQ. This was not an issue on V7 or earlier and is not an issue today with the latest version of ACID.

However, this was is poor configuring on my part. Problem solved since I got the AP 192 on its own IRQ.

Can't imagine how that would affect Vegas separately from any other application, but glad you got it fixed !

Maybe ASIO drivers are flawed when it comes to the HAL concept . But the again, maybe that is the whole point of them ?
