glow has always had this issue..
best way around it is to run broadcast safe filters AFTER the glow filter (in teh chain that is.. )

another option is to run levels early on in the chain..
also be aware that if ur converting interlaced to progressive, or running slowmotion, this flickering will get worse

Going back to my original question to you...have you tried it to verify it is all that I asked....

OK, Mark, I believe it was I who had had an issue with Glow Fx flickering AGAINST a Bezier Mask Border. If it wasn't then don't bother to read the following.

However, intrigued with what you were saying, I have now resurrected and recaptured from the original footage of THAT Vegas6 project and opening it within Vegas7.

It flickers. Glow and Mask-Border flickers. But read-on as this may not be a BUG!

Now, as I think when we stumbled on this it may very well be the math of the 2 things having to interpolate each other: Glow's variable AND the viable of the Feather of the BezMask. I don't think/believe one can call this a bug. I'd also like to comment on the fact that I DON'T know if the FXs for Vegas7 have been changed? Now if THIS is true then what I have "tested" is against the FXs from Vegas6. Meaning I wouldn;t want you to accept what I say, as it MAYBE a FALSE Positive - that which I'm seeing is STILL V6 Fxs. Now I can't imagine that FXs would have been changed, but they may have been spruced-up too.

I hope this helps - took me 30 mins to resurrect. Sorry for the delay.
