Maybe this will help somewhat

Place a standard text from text generator

if you duplicate your track and place the light rays fx underneath the bottom clip with color say …blue rays
and you outline your top clip white with white text in your text editor you will notice that when you drop you text transparency this will also effect the rays
they tend to have a lot more feel

if you take say noise generator and place it at an angle in 3d mode make one color white and the other color transparent animate this and place light effects on top of this, the light
will only travel on the surface but .. if you save that as a veg file reimport that veg into a new project place the light rays on to that you will notice that the light rays will travel in 3d space

in AE you also have to pre compose to get the same effect this would be the Vegas equivalent. Trapcode like Boris allows you to bypass this step

The file is in MPEG2 720/25p (m2T). Are you using VLC to play it?
Otherwise I will render in other way.

I liked the look and the use of color it works well . I really liked the background as it set the mood and the fx is nice and powerfull

Your use of type could improve

Here is something to consider
When a wise king sent a messenger he wouldn’t send one decked in gold and silver lest the messenger became too important and the real import of the message lost
Whatever you do is secondary to the meaning of the words

The meaning is in the words not in the type face or font or the design. Design and type should enhance the meaning not dominate the message
The way you use type can affect the message and meaning

I understand from what you are saying is”glow fx” that’s the meaning
For eg Glow you have an oversized G and a undersized low so it reads as G…..low ‘ “ Jlo’s sister “and this detracts from the word glow and fx it seems is in a different type face
Separating it as a different word
Yarin reads as y arin and v…oo d…oo so watch your kerning It’s the 4 o’s in voodoo that give this word it’s eerie look have been made to look as of no value
When you get too clever people won’t take you seriously

Keep it simple “Glow FX “there is power in simplicity this equals sincerity

Also maybe as a suggestion ….voodoo is supernatural right so if the glow effects were gentler deeper [almost not their ] more subtle.???

As a matter of interest I have worked with Voodoo productions on some Tv ads “owned by a guy called Milo”

I'll modify the text layers.

I used Broadway font for "Yarin VooDoo" and Berlin for "Glow FX", the first letter oversized is just to give put attention in this letters, but I understand that the distance between the oversized letter and the other letters needs to be modified.
