Going back in time with Vegas

Back in the day when Vegas Video 3.0 was released, there was a tutorial (video/audio clips) that one could download from the Vegas site, as I recall. It walked you through editing the footage and tweaking the sound. It was really good for beginners.

I went to the current site, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone here still have that tutorial or know here I could find a copy?

Thanks!

Jay

Jay,

Go to the updates section of the site here and choose the Vegas 3.0c update - in the list of options you can download the tutorials.

I used these to teach a beginning video editing class. Worked wonderfully. I'm surprised Sony hasn't updated and continued to use them. Extras and .veg files on the new CD's are pretty poor in my opinion.

Mike, you read my mind. That's exactly why I wanted them. I've got a guy who wants me to teach him how to use Vegas. I thought that would be the perfect place to start.

Thank you!

Jay, you might also want to point him toward the "Beginner's Corner" articles beginning in issue 4 of the newsletters

I downloaded the tutorial zip file but how does it work? All I got was a serious of project files which look like the incremental steps that you'd do while following a tutorial.
