Going through video, frame by frame?

I am very new to Sony Vegas (have used Movie Studio a little bit, just downloaded a demo for Vegas 8, am very excited by it!), so I apologize if this is an oft-asked question.

In Adobe Premiere, I can nudge nudge nudge my way through my footage (one frame at a time) in the timeline (or in the clip viewer) by using the forward and back arrows on my keyboard.

It doesn't appear that I can do this in Vegas 8—I use the forward and back keys, and usually it goes through a few frames at a time.

Is there any way to adjust this? It's not a deal breaker for me (I'm very curious about Sony Vegas and want to learn more) but I just need to know . . .

Thanks in advance.

It depends on the zoom. If you zoom in you can have frame by frame, if you zoom out it will move by a couple of frames, few more, depending on the zoom.

If you need to force frame by frame at any zoom , hold alt and use arrow keys ( I think that was the shortcut )
