I hope to see an update which fix the fx per event bug. It makes CDA not better for me at this point that Nero (have to apply all mastering fx in Sound Forge). If this was working I could do all my mastering with it.

In the meantime it must still be better than Nero - what about just "Open Event in Audio Editor" the events from the timeline ? Then you still get all the graphical/formatting benefits of CDA.

Either that or use less cpu-greedy plugins (Ozone seemss to be the worst).

Nero has a graphical editor too... It is far from Sound Forge but allows you to set indexes and set tracks ;)
I was just a bit upset to have this bug in CDA or else it would be such a fantastic product.

Hardly a bug. More an "unforessen design factor". With many (most ?) plugin chains it really isn't a problem on a moderately fast PC. The proposed 'unused plug deactivation tweak' should fix it. I think they've said they are looking at it.
