I liked the opening "letter to Sony." Amen. DGrob

What does this article and opening letter say? Basicly.

Dear Sony,

Leave Vegas the f*** alone.

Thank you.

That's not what is says. Here's how that "letter" starts:

"Now that you've acquired Vegas, we hope you continue to develop it."

Don't we all.... Even an interim version (i.e., 4.5) with Sony's name on the product would end all the speculation about the future of Vegas.

True, and it would also be nice simply to have a free letter update (ie. a,b,c,d, etc) for all software to the new Sony branding. In other words, not like the Sound Forge 7 method.

Sorry, that was meant to be tounge in cheek. What I read from the letter was that they were urging Sony to not just "Sony-ize" the product, or perhaps pushing it to the side because it does not have the user base of other programs, such as Premiere. Just let the Vegas team do what it has been doing: producing an excellent product that is growing in popularity.
