Google play store app

Downloaded Vegas Hub from the Google playstore thinking that I was downloading an android mobile based version of Vegas pro.. I proceeded to purchase a Vegas 365 membership to find that the installation file is not .Apk, but .bin. Why have an app on the app store that says.." be one of the first to try and give us your feedback" ? Did I miss something?

From Vegas Pro's website re Vegas Hub:

VEGAS HUB CLOUD SERVICE

Use VEGAS Transfer to upload video media from your mobile device to your personal, secure cloud location for backup and collaboration. Access these files directly from the VEGAS Pro Hub Explorer and organize them into powerful collections for fast access. Download them to your local drive directly from inside VEGAS Pro for editing.

And as per the Vegas Hub info on the Playstore:

Transfer media from your mobile device to your personal and secure VEGAS Cloud for access directly from inside VEGAS Pro for editing, backup and collaboration.

It looks like Vegas Hub is a media transfer and management program intended as an extra feature for Vegas Pro, and appears to be just that from the Vegas Pro 18 comparison page:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-pro/product-comparison/#productMenu

There's been nothing flagged publicly that I've seen thus far that suggested that the entire Vegas Pro 18 NLE program was going to be released as a phone app.

I take it that the chance to provide feedback relates to the operation of transferring media from the phone up to Vegas Cloud and then down to your computer via Vegas Pro 365. It would have been better for clarity if the info on Playstore said something like:

"... VEGAS Cloud for access directly from inside VEGAS Pro on you computer for editing, backup and collaboration."

Guess I didn't read it all. Thanks for your excellent response. It all makes sense now.
