Based on my experience on using Insta360 One X2, you should render them first using GoPro application (in my case of Insta360, I use Insta360 Studio), preferred to output it as ProRes file format.
You can keep the rendered as 360 image without being reframed, and later you can use Tinyplanet OFX and put it before Event Pan & Crop chain to keep it sharp. (also use Scene Rotation OFX)
