GoPro time lapse to YouTube?

Recently got my first GoPro (Hero 3+ Black) and am experimenting with time lapse videos.

I use the GoPro editing software to create the initial video. The first time I went with 30 frames per sec. This time I created a video with 15 fps. I then loaded the video into Vegas Pro 10, added music, lower thirds and now I am having a problem with rendering.

I want to post this on YouTube. The problem is leaving the frame rate at 15 fps. Most of the templates don't go down that low. I believe the video is 1920 x 1080.

Any suggestions on what to do?

You don't mention the format you're trying to render to, but you can customize almost all the templates. I use MainConcept AVC/AAC for YouTube renders and the 1080p template has a dropdown for framerate that includes 15fps(Multimedia). You have to click the "customize template" button in the render dialog box to get to these controls.

Edit: I'm currently using VP11, but in the off-chance VP10 doesn't have the same settings, check the box that says "allow source to adjust frame rate." Also, make sure your Vegas project is set to 15fps.

I've done a few timelapses from the GoPro. I made my project setting to 1280x720 PAL(25 frames) Then simply imported media as image sequence. Once you've rendered it out import it back into Vegas and stretch or shrink it on the timeline.

You can set any frame rate you want. At least in Sony AVC and Mainconcept AVC.

Just start with a template that is close to what you want and choose edit template and enter the values you want. The drop down list for frame rate goes as low a 12fps, but you could enter any value you want. If you want to use those setting in the future then simply same the template under a name of your choosing.
