Gotta be a better way

I have several clips and I want them to dissolve in 2 secs. Currently I have to overlap the clips then double click in between them then adjust the region then drag the clip until it stops? Gotta be a better way.

Hi again cd,

You might try setting the "cut to overlap conversion" to 2 sec in prefs.

Then you could park the cursor at cutpoints and tap the numpad-/ key to pop a dissolve in each one.
