GPU Memory Interface/Bandwidth Questions for editing in Vegas Pro

As I research my GPU upgrade for my desktop - I'm looking at what graphics card to upgrade to when the time comes. In preparation for upgrading to Vegas Pro 15 - I'm considering the nVidia GTC1060 6GB card - it's memory interface width/bandwith is 192. Some of the more less expensive cards go as low as 128 and the more expensive ones go as high as 512 - I'm unsure about how important this is as my budget is pretty much shot after purchasing the following set to arrive this Saturday:

  • Intel i8700K
  • ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-H Motherboard
  • 16GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz RAM (eventually will add another 16GB of that)

I'm going to have to make due for now with my GTX-660Ti 2GB card until I can decide which card to get. Or should I consider one of the newer AMD cards? (RX480 or 580 8GB?) I'm still editing on Vegas Pro 14 Edit but do plan on upgrading to VP15 Edit next month. My biggest want is timeline performance and given the i8700K has QSV, How does that play into the equation?

Any advice on this would be appreciated. @OldSmoke @NickHope
