GPU Rendering with GTX 1070 vs R9 Fury X

I built a computer to render video faster then the older computer and it has a GTX 1070. HWA doesn't seem to be supported in Magix Video Pro X8 with the Nvidia on the render side but all over the web people say the R9 Fury X works on the rendering side. Is that true?

Your post is somewhat confusing - Are you editing with Vegas Pro? The AMD GPU's are recommended when editing with Vegas Pro

I am editing in Magix Video Pro X which seems identical to Vegas Pro and I am sure it use the same MainConcept encoder when rendering. But I cant seem to find out if the Fury X is going to work 100% on the render side with the MainConcept encoder....

How do you know this? Sony purchased the MC encoder when VP11 came out and it has never been updated since.

Tomorrow I am going to test two systems side by side: system 1 will be a 1366 i7-930-samsung 850 ssd 48gb ddr3 cl9 1600 with two Msi 7770's crossfired. system 2 will be e5-2620 WD 500 m.2 32gb ddr4 ecc GTX 1070

and see what results I get from rendering a 15min 720p avi file with multiple transitions and maybe color correction and motion correction to mp4 using mainconcept encoder. thanks

Magix Video Pro X8 (latest version) and the MainConcept codec h264
