Gradual increase/decrease of playback rate

Hi
I'd like to know how (if it's possible) to apply a gradual increase or decrease of playback rate to a clip, so that for example it starts slowly and speeds up, or vice-versa.

Velocity envelopes. Right click the event you want to gradually speed/slow, and choose Velocity. 100 is normal playback, 0 is freezeframe, -100 is normal speed in reverse.
