Graffiti as a Plugin or executable?

How do you intend to use 3.0? Plugin/Separate exe file

If you successfully get the plugin to work please share your settings.
I've spent the last two days trying to get results form the plugin w/o any success. This interface is sh*!* - (insert your ajective -> ________) at best in my opinion.
The lack of R/D sure shines. I will probably remove 3.0 as a plugin and try as a separate exe program. Hopefully I can recoup some of the cost.

In my experience, all Boris products perform better when used as stand alone and NOT as a plugin. Vegas CAN NOT interact with Boris like other NLEs...just the way Vegas is coded/written/architecture,etc. As a result, it is actually EASIER to use Boris products in the stand alone mode.

If you're talking about Boris 3.0 LTD, it will not work as a plug-in and must be run stand alone.

If you are using 3.0 it does function as a plug in. A big problem I had with it was it telling me that the cursor had to be over the time line. No matter what I did it would not work - the trick was that the video preview had to be enabled. No one bothers to tell us new users that.

Another issue I had was that the interface which came up on screen was not the same on in the manual. This actually turned out to be an easy fix and the interface is actually not that bad and you can customize it. Either the BorisFX tutorial or the one from Class on Demand will help with getting started and overcoming the complicated interface. Just seeing someone able to manipulate it help me dramatically.

Graffiti LTD is a standalone application.

I have upgraded to Graffiti 3.0.

However when installing first time, it was looking for Vegas 4.0 Video plugins which I did not pick up on.

After re-installing I had to point it to C:\Programmes\Sony\Vegas5\Video Plugins.

After that, everything is sweet.
