The guys in the Hawaii Vegas Users Group, headed up by Randy Stewart, had an awesome meeting tonight, where vids from 4 different people were shown as a mini film fest and competition. Very cool to see WayOutWest (Rob) win the first prize for his creative music vid, complete with composited butterflies flying from the flowers. Other vids were great too, but the grand prize was ACID 5, and it was a fun discussion that followed. Colton Stewart took second place, Poppa Doc took third. Large group, nice meeting room with computer stations for everyone. These guys really have paradise.
Major kudos to this forums' own Kula Gabe, who is directing a major commercial this weekend for a national client. He even made the papers due to the size of the job. Congrats Gabe!
