great news & minor requests

congrats on a great release - i spent my 01:42:00:00 downloading it this morning. just to let you chaps know it works on my laptop which is 128Mb / 96Mb in real life

meanwhile, a couple of minor requests for the next release - when printing a cd liner notes cue sheet, would there be a way of making this work like a 2 x 120mm square cd inlay, i think this would be of more use. also the ability to name tracks separate from their file names would be good

finally, the second timeline is brilliant for adding little in-between track flourishes & vignettes (and samples) - is there a way to disable track ids in this timeline..?
cheers / paul

Paul:

The printing functions are targeted to what folks need for submitting to a replication house, we were not trying to be a liner-note printer. It's an interesting idea, and wouldn't be that hard to add, but I fear that people would then lambast the primitive CD insert printing functions <g>.

You can already name tracks separately from their filenames. In fact, you can name events separately from their filenames if you wish. Just use the Track List to create or change track names, or use the content menu on track markers.

Finally, to not have tracks created for events added to the second audio layer, turn off Options > Automatically Create Tracks.

thanks for the info, i can see how the cd-inlay could cause creeping feature-itis
as someone who works in a buzy studio - a simple concise method of cataloguing cds is always welcome. at the end of a mix session there are dozens of CDRs lying around - but saying that, it's no big deal to just tear off the existing inlay, fold it and stick it in the slip case with the cd
i sorted the tracklist thing - apologies for not reading the manual first...
cheers
