Green bar at top of video

I am using Vegas Pro 12. There is a greenish bar across the top of some videos when I view them in Vegas, and after rendering. I don't see this bar when I view the video in Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player, so I know it's not part of the video itself. Does anyone know what might be causing this, and how I can get rid of it? The files are in mp4 format, by the way, but I have this problem with only some mp4 files, not all of them.

I had one just last week but in Vegas 9. Rendering B&W material to MP4, about the top 20% of the screen had a very faint but noticeable green tint. I was rushing through 6 videos to show and didn't have time to redo it, but the other 5 didn't have it.

Dunno if it's anything at all like your problem.

Sometimes this is caused by the source video dimensions not being in multiples of four. Second time recently someone has reported this with VP 12.

If you'll post your complete source file properties using MediaInfo from Sourceforge, we may be able to give you more info.
