Use the "chroma key" fx in your fx chain. Take the eyedropper and choose the green color behind your doors... voila!

Hi Mike I tried that and it doesn't work. How should the two video tracks be placed? Should the animation be on the same video track as the video clip? Or should the animation be on top of the clip?

You want the video, that's going to show through the animation doors, on the bottom track. Put the animation on top and use 'Chroma-key' effect as described above. If it doesn't look that good or if some parts of the doors keep showing through, you have to have the green an even shade where ever you want it to become invisible for the video. Watch for shadows and reflected light.

While setting up the chromakey on the top track, it is sometimes helpfull to temporarily place a bright color on the bottom track to allow you to see what you are doing until the adjustments are made. Use a color which doesn't occur on the top track. When you're done, delete it.
