Green Screen preview when importing 4k footage

Hi, I have this frustrating problem with my sony vegas pro 12.

I edited the video using proxy and when I import the 4K files, all I get is green files and green preview screen and can't see anything.

Any idea how I can fix that?

Upgrade to VEGAS Pro 20? There's been a lot of support for new formats in the past 10+ years.

I don't know what you are doing by "editting proxy and when I import the 4K files", but with me edit, playing and adding all kind of files till UDH format, as long as it are AVC files, no problem on laptop.
