Green screen question

I shot some footage of a person from head to toe in front of a green screen.
I was as far back as I could get, trying to make the person as small as possible
to begin with but I don't have 50 foot of Green screen to make them the right size.
Now I am trying to place them in front of another video of people standing around.
The problem comes when I am trying to to make the green screened person appear
the same size as the people in the footage. I would need to make the green screen
person about half the size as they are for this to work. I am using the pan and crop
but am unable to make them small enough. Is there a way I can shrink the image of the
green screened individual even more?
Thanks

I don't know why you wouldn't be able to make him small enough with the Pan/Crop tool. That's exactly the right way to do it.

Why is it not working? What's happening instead?

If pan crop won't go small enough, try the 'track motion'. Cin

Uhhh....The problem comes because I didn't fill my entire camera view with green screen.
I had some stuff on the sides of the GS that I though I could crop out using the pan and crop tool. Thanks for your reply. Back to the green screen it is.
