Green video after render complete

I use a website called pegmedia.org to download content for the local TV station in town. Normally I have no issues, but today I have had more than one video do this. When I render video, it looks fine in the editor, but comes out green in the destination folder when complete. Audio is present and works fine.

I should also add that the downloaded videos from pegmedia are .mpg file type, and 1080p

They are then rendered down to 480p. I have to downsize them because we don't have an HD TV station.

I render them in mpg2 format. 720/480 and 16:9 shape. I usually use the Program Stream NTSC Widescreen preset when rendering.

Normally in the past, I'd move "compoundplug" folder to the desktop, "but" .... that was a solution for when the video was green in the editor, not this. Tried it anyway. Also, of note, on 100% sometimes vegas would freeze up and crash back to the desktop. I've never had this issue with vegas before today.

More notes: moving the "compoundplug" folder was the very last thing I tried, and all the issues I mentioned above were already present. The folder is still on my desktop, and I usually re-locate it when I'm done rendering the troubled file.

Solved it. I just had to re-install vegas. I'm guessing the recent driver update corrupted it somehow. It's all working fine now
