greenscreen and vegas

Hello,

I m just making a family video showing old photographs. For the intro i want to use a greenscreen photo album which would introduce the photographs. I m trying to figure out an easy way to do it or do i need another version of sony vegas. I can get the greenscreen photo at the angle and size of when the album opens, the problem is it is only supposed to show part of the greenscreen image until the album is fully open and then it shows all the image. This period lasts for about a second of time so i photographed the image for greenscreen 24 times and used gimp to crop each individual image to match with the book. It did work out fine but it was very time consuming and so i thought there must be an easier way right.

That seems like a very complicated way to create the effect, Justin! Why not just use a mask to hide the part of the photo that won't be seen as the album opens.
