Group placing inside region/regions

Hi,

I would like to know if someone knows a script that can place a group or groups of video events inside a region or more regions (not to make it fit, just placing inside the region), I've tried with vegasaur->quick properties->placement->place the events->fill area->region but the problem is that with this command the first video of the group is trimmed/dragged automatically to fit the region and I just want a simple script as mentioned above that can just PLACE inside the region not to make it fit.

Thank you

Could you attach a screenshot of what you want?

Here is a video where I explain

Not sure if I understand what you want. But as I understood it I would do the following:
1.Create markers on desired events;
2.Drag markers into desired region ;
3.Use Quick Properties to place the selected events in the markers that are within the desired region.

Thank you for the reply but that's double work, my ideea is just a command with which I can select some cuts/videos and that command just place it inside the region, that's all, I attached a video on the post to see exactly what I want

I see that the Vegasaur is not doing what you want, but to be honest, I do not understand what you want.

make sure that option Quantize to Frames (under Options menu) is ON before creating markers/regions, otherwise you will see that gaps (events are placed at frame boundaries, your markers are not).

Do you want to move a group of selected events to a region? You don't need a script for that, just move.

Thank you a lot, that was the problem, the "quantize to frames", thanks a lot, yeah I know I can move them but I have like 60 regions and in each region I need different groups, this resolved my problem, thanks a lot, sorry for saying that vegasaur has a problem :)

When you click Apply to place multicam events within the Region Vegasaur creates a crossfade on the first or last event hack to try to adjust multicam events within the region. This is as expected and vegasaur is working correctly in this case. This also happens here.

It is strange that when creating a marker and clicking apply to place the selected multicam events after that marker, a gap appears between the marker and the event. Here it does not occur (see video bellow). Perhaps the Quantize to frames option in your case is on as altarvic said.

Thanks mate, I did as altarvic said and it's ok now, thanks for involving :)
