grouping envelope edits (track motion) with clips

I need to move one part of my project (video and audio) to the back end of my project.

my problem is that there is a lot of track motion I've created.

I have 'lock envelopes to events' engaged and if I were to move the events on the timeline, the track motion points would move along with the events.

unfortunately, when I group the video, the audio and the track motion, the track motion points are not moving with the events.

My impression is that only those track motion events that are within the span of a video event on the same track will follow along as that clip as it is moved.

I image that you have some track motion events that occur before, after, or between video events on the track. In order to move them all you might try:
1. Create an empty video event on the track on top of the other video events, that spans all of the track motion events which need to move.
2. Group that new empty video event with the other events that need to move.
3. Drag that empty event to move everything to its new position.
4. Delete the empty event.

I think you might be right...I think that they will only follow along on the same track.

But I think your suggestion to create the empty video event, group and drag is actually perfect...will try.
