Growing - Time for new Sony equipment

Vegas Users,

I am in the position of purchasing some additional equipment for my business. Obviously these are items I should be without, but budgets only allow so much to be purchased at a time.

I am looking at the Sony DSR-11 DVCAM Player Recorder and Sony PVM-14L1 Monitor.

Has any used these? Do they meet your expectations? Any other recemmendations.

Thanks,

Dach

DSR-11, good value VCR, does PAL and NTSC if you haven't already worked that out. Only issue, the door hinges break if you're not carefull, thankfully Sony have dropped the price of replacments.
One small trap with the DSR-11 (and many other Sony products), by default it records audio in 32K (only matters if you go in analogue) and video in DVCAM, now after a few years the internal battery goes flat so everytime you power it down and on again, it reverts to those defaults. To replace the battery you do need to use a soldering iron.
