h.264 codec

Has anyone had luck with rendering with the h.264 codec? Everytime I try I get an error. Not sure if I have something set wrong...but I have tried a lot with different settings.

Do you mean the Sony AAC/AVC mp4 template?

I have been able to render to this. You may want to contact Sony support with this issue.

I was trying to use the h.264 codec when rendering with Quicktime from Vegas. It starts out but then crashes stating an error.

It seems to be a Quicktime error. Remember Quicktime 7 is still a (public) beta version.

Thank you very much for the responses. I was just wondering if anyone else has been able to choose that codec when rendering a Quicktime movie out of Vegas. The Quicktime version included with Vegas is 6, but they included the h.264 codec, so I thought maybe it should work.

The Sony AAC/AVC mp4 template files I have rendered play fine in Quick Time 7.

Curious if anyone has had success - the "release" version of QT7 still crashes my 6.0c vegas version. Also, where do I find the Sony AAC/AVC mp4 template?
