Hey all-
I have a project which has probably 2 hours of footage, and each of the files is matched with audio. The audio that I was given was 5 channel wav audio.
Is there a way to collapse the audio into a single track and expand it when the edit is complete?
Same as MV... a stereo or mono proxy file would be my recommendation.
Don't know if 'Proxy Stream' does audio only, but manually should be quick and easy.
Sorry, I won't access to my A/V computer til mid-week to check.
I found using MXF pretty helpful as it can have (I think) 16 channels of audio. It does take a bit of fiddling around with busses to get it happening but once the file is rendered and bought back into a new Vegas project all your audio sources will not slip and slide all over the T/L. Even if they do, you get that pink out of sync warning.
