Even on my ancient system, 636 seems very stable. I did lose a lot of my preferences, just re-entered them. Very happy.

...outside of having to re-do Graide Color Match, everything so far has been stable.
Not our experience. My wife tried editin a 3 camera performance (1 Sony A6400, 1 Sony TD30, 1 Sony AX100) + 1 Zoom H1 audio track, and after 5 minutes editing build 636 froze (not responding). I set legacy avc decoding in preferences and so far so good. Is this a known bug with the new avc decoder? Will i loose performance when enable legacy mode? That is not gpu accelerated?
Not a known bug specific to this build if that's what you mean.. What is your GPU and what were the settings in preferences/file io?

I have a modern AMD environment and it itches me to try the newest driver 22.5.2.
Surprisingly all harmonious, the B636, the RX6900XT. And the stability with power!
Not long ago I just declared this driver ver. as adventitious and problematic. My wrong.
