Hard disk space

I am a bit tight with hard disk space, but I cannot understand why DVD-A would not allow you to compile a DVD if there isn't more than double the required 4.7GB. The funny thing is that at no time during the compilation does it take much more than the required 4.7GB.

Is there a workaround to make DVD-A ignore this space limit.

Don't know, but it's worth emptying recycle bin, etc.

Also, since you have a DVD burner, would it be possible to archive some files off to a DVD-R to make room, then dump them back when you're finished?
