Hard Drive Video Transfer

Hi, I have the GZ-MG30U hard drive camcorder by JVC. For some reason I cannot transfer the video clips to Movie Studio 6. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it just me?

Are you trying to capture to vegas or just view in explorer? Maybe you need to transfer to a file on the hard drive. What format are the files?.avi or mpeg2

I believe the solution is to connect to the JVC unit via USB 2.0 cable and copy them out to your PC's Harddrive to edit.

If I am not wrong all HDD based cannot do AVI format. MPEG2/MPEG4 is possible.
