Hello there,
I'm new around here, so please, excuse me if this issue has been already discussed around.
I've been watching Vegas since the betas of 1.0.
I must say: Vegas is really amazing. It's got everything to be a major player against the ProTools, Nuendo, and the rest.
I called Sonic Foundry a few times since then, asking if they would include Midi Fader support in Vegas. I always got the same answer:
- Yes sir, it will be included in the next version of Vegas.
Now, we're at 3.0 and still no sign of MIDI fader support. I wonder why they're waiting. Maybe they want to do "More Video/Less Audio".
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would have a use for hardware faders. And the worst thing is: It's not even hard to implement! (I used to do MIDI programming back in the DOS days).
Best Regards,
Marc Girard aka Zapper
