Has any installed Wax in Vegas 5.0?

Just wondered if anyone with a fresh install of Vegas 5.0 has recently downloaded Wax 2.0 and installed it? Did the install work OK and did the plugins show up in Vegas? Satish is helping me to get my install to work but I was curious if I am the only one with a problem, or if anyone has had a successful install.
Any info would be appreciated. Tricks you used to get it to work if it didn't work initially...

I replied in your other thread about Wax 2.0b and Winmorph. I have a fresh install of VV5 with no VV4. I just happened to have needed to reload windows and wanted to start fresh with VV5. I installed the Wax plugin to the new Sony/Video Plug-Ins Folders. I installed Winmorph to the default directories (i.e. Sonic Foundry/...) that the installer calls for. Everything works fine in mine.

Thanks for the feedback. I assume it's either something I did wrong during the install or some other strangeness, so it's good to know someone else was able to successfully do a similar install.
Satish is working hard to help me and I'm sure eventually it will work.
Thanks,
Rick

SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE....What was the problem and the resolution?

The problem: Wax plugins were not getting displayed in the Vegas FX/Transitinos lists. It seemed like the plugins were not getting 'registered' properly.

Solution: There is a system file named "atl.dll" present in windows\system32, that needed to be registered for Wax to work successfully. In most systems it is registered by default, but in his PC it was not. So we specifically had to say "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll" in his command prompt to register that system file. Then reinstall Wax and things worked fine.
