Has anyone noticed this?

I am noticing somthing I don't like with the velocity envelope. It happens when I apply a velocity change to a clip and part of the clip is at 100%. At the point where the different speed starts on the envelope there is a slight jump in the picture, and this is AFTER rendering. If I cause the whole clip to be rendered by applying any filter the jump still happens. The only time I can get it to not do this jump (kind of like a dropped frame) is when I change the velocity of the whole clip. Then I can have a change in velocity within the clip and it will not jump at the change. That is not cool in my opinion. It is a consistant and repeatable behavior. AND the worst part is I tried the same thing in Vegas three and it doesnt happen there. Whats the deal?

I just tried changing the velocity of a DV clip and rendered. I didn't see any picture jumping. I had 100% vel for 2 seconds, then slows to 10%, goes up to 100% again, then goes to 250%. It played smoother as it should. what codec are you rendering to?

I have ignor 3rd party codecs checked and Microsoft unchecked in prefs so it is SF. The jump is quite slight mind and you won't notice it unless your watching on an NTSC monitor. You cant tell as much on a computer monitor, but it definately is there and definately is not there in V3 when doing the same thing.

Did you resample the clip?

Right-click on your event-->Switches-->Resample, then render...

Hope that helps, sorry if it is a simple answer.

That's ok, I did try force resample but it still does it. But always I will mention it doesnt happen in V3.
