Has anyone tried using MS "GAME MODE" to enhance video editing?

About a year ago, Microsoft announced a new feature for Windows 10, called "Game Mode." It is supposed to speed up Windows so that games will play more smoothly. Apparently, from what I've read, some games will automatically invoke Game Mode. Others require manual enacting. You enact Game Mode by pressing the Windows button and the letter "G."

Essentially, what it is doing is to curtail the activity of your CPU and GPU for any programs besides the "game." I guess, to a degree, we are doing this in MVP by deciding how much of our resources we allot to Vegas in the preferences choices.

I did a search on this site, looking for "Game Mode," but didn't come up with anything that seem helpful. Anyone have an insight into this? Will it enhance our editing experience? Will it even work with Vegas Pro?

I haven't used it but given how little Vegas stresses my system (Vegas just works slowly) I don't think other programs stealing resources from Vegas is the bottleneck.

Computer games and the way graphic is displayed is very different from the way an NLE works. That is also the reason why SLI or Crossfire doesn't really do much for video editing.
