About a year ago, Microsoft announced a new feature for Windows 10, called "Game Mode." It is supposed to speed up Windows so that games will play more smoothly. Apparently, from what I've read, some games will automatically invoke Game Mode. Others require manual enacting. You enact Game Mode by pressing the Windows button and the letter "G."
Essentially, what it is doing is to curtail the activity of your CPU and GPU for any programs besides the "game." I guess, to a degree, we are doing this in MVP by deciding how much of our resources we allot to Vegas in the preferences choices.
I did a search on this site, looking for "Game Mode," but didn't come up with anything that seem helpful. Anyone have an insight into this? Will it enhance our editing experience? Will it even work with Vegas Pro?
