I don't see anything in the specs about connecting to a computer. If you were going to use that you'd need to install an ADAT optical interface card in your computer in order to connect to it. Perhaps this device would be necessary too:

Kurt, the primary moderator of the RO (recording.org) forums uses these and has positive comments about them. I was going to use one to add 8 analog outs to my Layla 24 (via ADAT lightpipe) but went another direction. It would have worked fine as these do not have any drivers to conflict with existing software. Of course you need to choose the same sample rate as your primary card (whatever you're using). Check out the RO forums for more info (excellent forums IMO).
