Hauppauge M2ts files crashing vegas

I just downloaded it and everytime I try to import a video from my hauppauge with Arcsoft total extreme windows 7 gives me a message saying that Sony Vegas has stopped working! It is so frustrating. I am not very technical so please speak in a language I can understand when responding! thanks in advance

Upload a short clip somewhere and let us have a look at it. There is another thread on your exact issue so maybe you'll want to join in there.

I looked at that post and couldnt find any solution.

The error message just says that Sony Vegas has stopped working and that its trying to find a problem but it never does find a problem.

I did not say that thread offered you any solution. It started just one day ago.

I said you are welcome to join in that discussion in order to help lead yourself and others to a solution. It's kind of how we work around here -- together.

But by all means, make your own choice.
