Have clips expand to half speed when importing to timeline?

Hey guys, just curious if there is a way when adding my clips to the timeline to automatically have them expand to half-speed. Thanks

Yes there is. But you'll have to use a script to do it and it will have to be a specialized script design explicitly for that purpose. The script would need to do the following:

Select the clips to be added to the timeline
Add one of the clips to the timeline
Make the event twice as long
Change the "Playback Rate" to .5
Repeat steps 2 - 4 for the remaining clips to be added.

But, that is easily done using a script.
