HC1 issues with capture...

I have tried on several occassions to use my HC1 as a capture cam to save head wear on my A1U's. I have not been successful. Anyone else have this issue or have an HC1 and it works with Vegas or HDVSplit? The A1U's have no problem in this regard.

Once connected via firewire it makes the connected sound, the icon shows up for a video camera in the system tray, but once I open either hdvsplit or vegas capture for HDV it says cam not recognized.

I have an HC1 and I capture with both HDVSplit and Vegas without any problem.

These days I generally capture in Vegas; before Vegas supported scene detection I used HDVSplit.

Hmmm. I wonder where my problem lies? I would assume that the A1U and the HC1 would use the same driver.
