HD Capture

I just did my first capture of HD footage in Vegas 8. When the capture was over, I never saw the "Do you want to rename clips?" dialog I'm used to seeing for the "external" SD Capture process.
Does anyone know if that function was dropped with the new "internal" capture feature?

Also, does anyone know how to enter meta-data items like "Tape Name" on a mass scale? I've only been able to figure out how to do it one clip at a time. I've scoured the documentation and it's pretty light on the topic of capture.

those you can now type in before you capture on the right side of the capture window. Hence no need to rename anything. :)

Ok, so this time I filled in the fields on the right. So now I'm left with hundreds of files named "CaptureTemp_001...CaptureTemp_0314". Any idea where I went wrong?

no clue. i've always put a name in & it's always worked. it names the files as they're capturing.
