I have 2 hours of interview footage that I began capturing. The game plan was to capture the HD footage as small segments and tag each segment using the media manager. I quickly found out that will cause my Vegas 6d to crash even before I had a chance to use GearShift on them. So now I'm capturing 10 minute segments at a time. But that means each segment could have up to a half dozen tags. Here's what I'm wondering about:

1. Should I tag the .mt2 clips or should I first convert the mt2 clips to DV proxies and then tag the DV proxies?

2. Is there any way I can further subdivide the tagged clips?
