couple of issues I am having, when i go to import a m2t into the insert video menu i get a error message that cannot access the m2t file. if i capture dorectly from the FX 1 it captures fine as an M2t. so what am i doing wrong.

Next question as i use 30 sec m2t clip. what parameter doe you set to insurre its burning HD? should the disc type stay at DVD-5 or change it to HD DVD even though burning to a std DVD.

If you have the trial version then it doesn't support (TS) .m2t files.
If you bought the retail version then download & install patch# 2 from their website to correct many problems with the original release. With patch# 2 installed you can insert TS .m2t files directly and many more file types that the original release didn't support.

Select HD-DVD to burn to a standard dvd.

If you spend $19 more and get the HD Powerpack, you get a lot of menu backgrounds and more options.
