HD Internet Upload Template for Vimeo & Youtube

Ok, why does Sony Vegas Platinum HD10 not have a template for HD Internet upload? This is the main reason I purchased the software.

I have heard the Vegas Pro has this what are the settings? I will be bringing AVCHD format files into SVP. They need to be rendered as a .MP4 with other specific settings.

Can anyone help?

You can create your own template, you don't need Vegas to have one ready-made. Here are instructions how to export in 720p for example, use the Main Concept method: http://eugenia.queru.com/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/

After you read the article and you follow it (if you want to export in 1080p instead just follow the instructions on what to change in the tutorial), you can also save that as a new template.

As it's mentioned in the article, it will work with Youtube, Vimeo, any other online video service, and PS3 and XBOX360. Only the Apple TV requires special care with different settings.
