HD network rendering bruceo wrote on 3/28/2006, 6:43 PM Anyone using network rendering for HDV projects? Does it work for m2t? or Cineform? Does it work smoothly or are there problems? Back to post
Comments fldave wrote on 3/28/2006, 6:55 PM Network rendering doesn't work with MainConcept MPG output, I understand, without additional licenses purchased. You should be able to render all effects, resizing, etc, to Cineform avi. But the final render to MPG must be done on one machine. Just my interpretation of the limits. jrazz wrote on 3/28/2006, 7:25 PM But it should work though if you have a copy of Vegas 6 and another copy of Vegas 5 left over from the upgrade right? So, if you have both, you should be able to output to mpg2 as you have two licenses for MainConcept. j razz Spot|DSE wrote on 3/28/2006, 7:30 PM You can network render with CineForm. fldave wrote on 3/28/2006, 8:03 PM "should be able to output to mpg2 as you have two licenses for MainConcept" Didn't/shouldn't Vegas change versions of the encoder? I wouldn't mix. jrazz wrote on 3/28/2006, 8:19 PM Read this. j razz 1
