I have rented Sony Pd150 in the past and end up buying Panasonic's DVx100 (luv it).
Sony has contacted me to check out their new HDV-FX1 on the Nov 17. Now I am interested in shooting HD for 2005 weddings. I know that HD media and HD tv isn't standard yet but I think it would be a good selling point that I shoot HD footage which can be printed for now in 480i and 1080i in the future as needed.
1) has anyone heard any rumors of Panasonic release and HD cam for 2005 if so i will wait?
2) Does HDV-FX1 the HD Mpeg format work with Vegas for sure?
3) could I output the (raw not so compressed) avi 1080i file through the 1394 port to like say a DV quickstream hard drive (also to be aquired for 2005).
4) Is there even a 1080i AVI dv format that vegas can work with.
thanks
guys
