Anyone got any magic recipe for getting 1920 x 1080 to QT that works back into FCP with minimal grief and highest quality. Due to a Sony / OSX / FCP snafu it looks like I'm going to have to shift several hours of EX1 HQ footage into something FCP can read.
I certainly plan to test a few seconds first but any 'getting started' advice appreciated.
If you're wondering, not everything the EX1 can record will load into FCP, this was found out the very hard way, despite fairly careful testing. There's a lesson in this tale of woe for all of us but that's for another day.
